Why did Graeme Specialise in Dietetics?

​

I initially left school at 16 to pursue an apprenticeship as a roof slater and rough caster.   I soon realised I didn't like heights and needed a change in career.  I have always enjoyed diet and lifestyle which made Dietetics an appealing career path.  I enrolled in a number of evening classes before studying Dietetics at University. 

 

The most rewarding part of my job working in IBD is working within a multidisciplinary team. 

 

Why is the IBD Patient Panel so important?

The patient should always be involved in their care and treatment plan. The IBD Patient Panel gives patients a voice and helps steer the direction of care.
